SkiptonWeb Treasure Cache

Here we are then.

Welcome to the long awaited concealed cache; hidden in the deepest darkest depths of the Dales.

A.

How to get there.

Either: Take the SkiptonWeb drive, (see stage 23) heading towards Foxup. Park at the small car park in Halton Gill. Set your GPS for SD9003978273 and, having paid your coins in the honesty box, make your way along the road, and turn right onto the public footpath heading towards Yockenthwaite. The SkiptonWeb Treasure Cache is along the path and over to the right behind a clutch of low rocks.

Or: During the Hubberholme walk when you arrive at stage 15. Again set your GPS for SD9003978273 and walk over the bridge. Head along the road South to Raisgill, turn right onto a public footpath going uphill along the track. The SkiptonWeb Treasure Cache is along the path and over to the left behind a clutch of low rocks.

Near the Cache
B.

Once you arrive at the point indicated by your Global Positioning System, search for a yellow plastic box with a black lid, held down with a large rock.. It is hidden behind an outcrop of low limestone rock near the path.

Cragface Cache
C.

What to do once you have found the box:

1. Remove the stone, and take off the lid.
2. Look for the disposable camera, and take your-or your groups photograph. (Please use only one snap per visit!) By taking the photograph you agree to the image going online.
3. Find the notebook and write the date, your name and any comments about the day/walk/experience or the views around you.
4. *Optional* Choose an item in the plastic bag you would like to exchange.
5. *Optional* Put your item into the box, to replace the one you have removed.
6. Ensure that the notebook is back inside the map holder and secured. Also that the camera is back inside the box. Replace the lid properly, and put the rock back on top, leaving it as you found it.

Please do not leave any litter ... Thank You.

You can now return to your starting point.
The camera will be retrieved and all photos will be posted on the SkiptonWeb Gallery in due course. Please tell the old fella, when the camera has one snap left. Thanks!

Hope you enjoy!
