Hubberholme

Stranger things have happened, but the history of the church in Hubberholme, is well documented ... Fish ... swimming down the aisles of the church. Why then did our friend, ...Robert Thompson, a fine carpenter and woodworker who became known all over the world for his trademark...a small hand-carved mouse which will be found unobtrusively on chair legs, bench ends, bed heads, the corner of a door... used his first commission at Hubberholme Church in Wharfedale to whittle vermin?...simply because he can't carve fish. Sad.

As for JB Priestly...he ate, angled for, and barbecued fish by the stream-full. Thats why he wanted his ashes back in the beck.
Well that's my version and I'm sticking to it !

Still the walking from here is an absolute must. Hubber-Hubber.
