Kirkby Field Farm Visitor Centre

Kirkby Field Farm Visitor Centre
Is situated on the edge of Malham, in the Pennines at the southern base of the Yorkshire Dales. The classic limestone scenery of cliffs, crags and scars, the unusual and valuable wildlife resource of lime-rich Malham tarn, and the farming landscape of miles of ancient dry stone walls, field barns, meadows and patches of woodland, create a special beauty.

The Farm
The farm has a wide range of animals, traditional and rare breeds, which can be closley observed by the public in a safe and enjoyable environment. Regular displays of Vintage Farm Vehicles, Working Sheepdogs and Dry Stone Walling demonstrations are held throughout the year.

For Children
There is the opportunity to see, touch and learn about the various animals and their offspring and to be able to feed some of the animals. Bottle feeding lambs; and bucket and bottle feeding calves (at certain times of year).
A Great Opportunity for kids!
To see, Touch and Feed a variety of animals and their young, and see rural skills in action.
