Portfolio
Here you can browse through websites we've worked on in the last
few years. The portfolio database holds details of websites
we've worked on in a design, development or programming capacity.
Some of the sites here were direct jobs between clients and ourselves,
some were built while contracting for other web design companies.
Some are re-designs, and quite a few (more, nowadays) are web-database
development jobs, bolted onto existing (third party) designs.
If it's the visual design style that your interested in, as opposed
to the programming, we have to say that the better looking websites
in here are the ones that we designed from scratch. Then again we
might be biased.
We're also finding nowadays that more and more people are coming
to us for re-designs on their original site. What looked great 3
or 4 years ago, might not look that good on today's world wide web.
If you are looking for a web design & development company we'd
suggest that first of all you ask to see a portolio, and then check
that the sites are for real clients. Then talk to some of the clients
and ask how happy they are with the results.
And if they can't explain things to you simply, they aren't any
good at what they do. At least half of this job is about communication.
Graphic/Print Design
Skiptonweb also design graphics for printing purposes, from business cards and
letterheads right through to full colour posters and leaflets, all
designed professionally using high resolution images that give the
best quality print result.
