Bingley Car Boot Sale

Car boot sales are a lot like Marmite - you either love 'em or you hate 'em. But less brown and sticky, obviously.

Me, I love 'em. Nothing better on a Sunday morning than to be out in the chilly winter air, wandering around looking for bargains, rooting through cardboard boxes full of dodgy DVDs, chewing on greasy burgers and haggling over the price of 1970's glass-topped coffee tables.

From Skipton, the two nearest regular Car Boot Sales are at Bingley and at Clitheroe. Both are held in the local Auction Mart.

Tell you what though, some people get a bit funny when you point a camera at them at a car boot sale...
