Artolicana Art Exhibition in Austwick Village Hall

Austwick provided a lovely setting for this well attended art exhibition, which had been organised by the Artolicana Gallery, Ilkley, to promote the work of local artists. Exhibitors could just bring their work along on the day and were provided with display boards, easels, peg board and lighting, for a fee of £5. No commission was charged on sales of less than £50, and only 5% on sales over that.

Admission was free for visitors, who had lots of varied, very high quality art work to admire, including many different styles of painting, photographs, and jewellery.

And to add to the occasion, there was good home made food available too !
