Skipton Sheep Day

Saturday 7th July 2002

Actor Clive Hornby from Emmerdale Farm opened Skipton Sheep Day along with Skipton Mayor Andrew Rankine. Weather was fine and warm this year. Apparantly Helen Mirren was there (unofficially) and I missed her. Story of my life. Good crowd turned up, there was a sheepdog geese-herding display (still no sheep allowed) and many stalls, including the Corio Raptor Care & Rehabilitation Centre, who had several large birds of prey on show.
